We use evolution to explore how genetics affects health. We study everything from cholera to dog behavior to mammalian evolution to understand how genes work, and how we can translate these discoveries into improved health care.

We are in the Bioinformatics and Integrative Biology Program and the Program in Molecular Medicine at the University of Massachusetts Medical School.
We are also the Vertebrate Genomics group at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard.
